1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Showmine Entertainment ("Showmine", "we", "us", "our") at app.showmine.ng or any related mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Showmine Entertainment is a content discovery and streaming aggregation platform that combines licensed media, proprietary original content, and third-party embedded video services. We provide access to African movies, series, live television, documentaries, sports content, and other entertainment programming through both free and subscription-based tiers.

Showmine hosts three categories of content:

• Original & Licensed Content: Movies and series uploaded directly to Showmine and hosted on our CDN infrastructure. Subscription fees apply to access to this content and platform features.
• Creator Content: Content uploaded by approved independent creators on our platform.
• Third-Party Embedded Content: Live streams, trailers, and videos embedded from third-party platforms such as YouTube. This content remains the property of its respective owners and is subject to the terms of the originating platform. Showmine does not charge users for access to third-party embedded content.

Live TV (Third-Party Embedded Content): Showmine provides a Live TV section that includes embedded third-party video streams sourced from platforms such as YouTube. This feature is provided free of charge as a complementary discovery feature of the platform. Live TV content is not part of any subscription plan, and subscription fees apply only to Showmine-hosted or licensed content and platform features — not to third-party embedded streams. Availability of Live TV content is subject to the originating platform and may change or be removed at any time without notice to Showmine or its users. Free access to Live TV may be modified, restricted, or discontinued by Showmine at any time without prior notice.

All third-party brand names referenced on our platform — including but not limited to Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, Al Jazeera, BBC, and others — are used solely for identification of publicly available embedded content and do not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with Showmine Entertainment.

3. Account Registration

To access our services, you must create an account with a valid email address or phone number. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Ensuring your registration information is accurate and kept up to date

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. Users under 18 should use the platform under parental supervision.

4. Subscription Plans & Payments

Showmine offers various subscription tiers including Free Pass, Basic, Standard, and Enterprise plans. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Subscription fees are billed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or USD as selected at checkout
• All payments are processed securely via Paystack or Stripe
• Subscriptions are non-refundable once access has been granted
• Multi-month plans are billed in full at the start of the subscription period
• The Free Pass (₦100) is a one-time purchase and cannot be repurchased after first use
• Enterprise plans are subject to separate agreement terms

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Price changes will not affect active subscription periods already paid for.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

Showmine hosts a combination of proprietary content, licensed content, and third-party embedded content. Our original platform content — including artwork, UI design, metadata, and Showmine-produced or licensed media — is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Third-party content embedded on our platform (including YouTube live streams and videos) remains the intellectual property of its respective owners. Showmine does not own, operate, or represent any third-party channels or brands displayed through embedded content, including but not limited to Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, Al Jazeera, BBC, or any other broadcaster.

Showmine is a content discovery platform that indexes and aggregates publicly available and embedded third-party content for user convenience. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of any third-party content provider.

You may not:

• Download, copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from our platform
• Use screen recording software to capture streamed content
• Share your login credentials with others outside your permitted device limit
• Circumvent any digital rights management (DRM) or access controls
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access our service

6. Device Limits & Simultaneous Streams

Each subscription plan includes a defined number of simultaneous streams and device logins. Sharing your account beyond these limits is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension. Enterprise plans carry specific device quotas defined at the time of purchase.

7. Kids Mode

Showmine provides a Kids Mode with age-appropriate content filtering. While we make reasonable efforts to curate appropriate content, parents and guardians are ultimately responsible for supervising their children's use of the platform. We recommend setting a Kids Mode PIN to prevent unauthorised exit.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Showmine for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm our platform, other users, or third parties. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:

• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Uploading or transmitting harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Impersonating any person or entity
• Interfering with the proper functioning of the service

Users acknowledge that third-party embedded content may contain external links, advertisements, or other content outside Showmine's control. Showmine is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party platform or website accessed through embedded content.

9. Content Availability

Content availability may vary by region due to licensing agreements. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove content from our library at any time without notice. The availability of specific titles does not form part of your subscription contract.

Third-party embedded content (such as YouTube live streams) is subject to availability on the originating platform and may be removed, restricted, or made unavailable at any time by the original content provider without notice to Showmine. We are not liable for the unavailability of any third-party embedded content.

Showmine is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to YouTube, Google LLC, or any third-party platforms, brands, or broadcasters referenced or embedded on our platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. Unused subscription time is non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

11. Limitation of Liability

Showmine Entertainment is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including service interruptions, content unavailability, or technical issues.

Showmine does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any third-party embedded content or metadata displayed on our platform. Users rely on third-party content at their own discretion.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email where possible.
